List of documents for NRI
If the property is in joint name the bank needs the following papers of the co-applicant:
1. Age, Address & ID Proof.
2. One Photograph (Signed).
3. Salary Slip or Pay Slip or Salary Certificate with deductions for the last three months (Original or Stamped).
4. Income tax return & Form 16 for the last two years.
5. Last Six month salary credit bank statement.
6. Processing Fee cheque from the salary account in favor of HDFC Ltd (Amount will be Rs. 10,000 + 12.24% service tax or 0.50% of the loan amount + 12.24% service tax, whichever is lower).
